About Arts and Minds
Arts and Minds combines art, creativity, and personal development in one accessible online portal. With 25 years’ experience as a fully qualified Art & Design teacher, NLP, Mindset and Mindfulness Coach I have created a programme that supports children in primary education to explore, create, and develop essential skills.
Our approach helps children:
•Express themselves creatively through drawing, painting and mixed media
•Build confidence, resilience, and emotional awareness
•Connect learning across subjects like numeracy, literacy, and PDMU
How It Works
All lessons are pre-recorded and ready to deliver:
•Each lesson includes a materials list, overview, WALT (We Are Learning To), and success criteria
•Teachers simply click and deliver — no preparation needed

Testimonial
In St Mary’s Primary School, we nurture holistic growth, academic excellence, and achievement for all. We actively encourage all children to be the best that they can be. Our school ensures that every child flourishes. The ‘pupil voice’ is actively encouraged and given a platform of importance which influences and shapes the school community by developing confident, capable, creative and critical thinkers who are ready to contribute to and shape society. The learning and teaching environment endeavours to inspire and support all pupils and create a caring, creative and inclusive environment.
Learners in all key stages have access to the broad and balanced curriculum which facilitates and supports their needs to enable them to develop skills, knowledge and understanding. Learning across the curriculum is connected and real-life experiences are valued enriched by meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom through: Outdoor learning, Activity Based Learning, Forest Learning, The Art and Design Factory and other extra-curricular activities. The whole school use of the Art and Minds Portal allows exploration of Topic Work to cover: Health and Wellbeing, Environmental and Economic Matters, Social Responsibility and applying their knowledge in real life context.
In our recent ETI Inspection Report the school were asked to share examples of highly effective practice which include:
- The high quality and innovative learning experiences provided for the children through a vibrant curriculum both inside and beyond the classroom; and
- The meaningful and creative collaboration and learning with and from others, informed by the needs, interests and views of the children.
In St Mary’s Primary School we enjoy exploring the workshops that the Arts and Minds Portal provide. Our school community is the richer for it. Our corridors and classroom displays are vibrant and all our pupils enjoy the success of creating their own pieces of art and having it displayed.
