Summer Art Lessons at Annadale Art Studio 2025
Annadale Art Studios are happy to share our Summer Art lessons for children aged 11+.
We are so excited to open our doors to older children who want to learn new skills and help them relax over the school summer holidays.
Smaller classes of children aged 11+ will ensure your child receives more one to one tuition to assist with the development of their skills and understanding.
Your child will love being part of the creative fun, meet new friends whilst growing in confidence and mindset.
Sinead is a fully qualified Art and Design Teacher with over 23 years teaching experience who is currently on a career break from her position as HOD of Art and Design.
Having taught children at 11+ for over 20 years Sinead will share her experience and knowledge of what is required at GCSE level to achieve highly.
The formal elements will be the main focus in these lessons therefore equipping your child with the necessary skill set and confidence to undertake GCSE Art and Design in Year 11 and 12.
Time Options :
- 10:30 am to 12 noon.
- 1.30 pm to 3:00 pm.
Summer Art Lesson Dates:
- Week 1: July 29th and 30th
- Week 2: August 12th and 13th
- Week 3: August 19th and 20th
Lesson Approach:.
Every class is inspired by a theme in art and design, spotlighting an artist or designer whose style is influenced by a particular movement or aesthetic. We’ll delve into fascinating facts, connecting the art to the broader context of art history or other subjects on the National Curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive learning journey.
Teaching Method: Lessons follow a clear, step-by-step format, guiding participants to create artworks they’ll cherish.
