Summer Art Camp at Annadale Art Studio
The Art and Design Factory is excited to announce our Summer Art Camp back will be back this year in our studio. Our Art Camp will allow your children to have a fantastic, fun time where they will create various arts and crafts projects, alongside like minded children. The images they create will be bright and colourful creations which they will be proud of and help boost their confidence. This is a great opportunity for kids to be part of engaging art lessons while parents have the opportunity to focus on working from home or enjoy some well deserved downtime.
Art Camp daily schedule
Each morning camp will begin at 10.30am, the art sessions last for one hour and thirty minutes and will have lunch at 12noon. After lunch we will begin our afternoon session at 1pm to 2.30pm.
Our Summer Art Camp will run on the following dates:
- Summer Camp 1 – July 5th, 6th, 7th
- Summer Camp 2 – July 12th, 13th, 14th
- Summer Camp 3 – August 2nd, 3rd, 4th
- Summer Camp 4 – August 9th, 10th , 11th
Lesson and Teaching format
Sinéad is committed to nurturing a calm and comforting environment for children while also giving them the opportunity to learn and release their creativity. Each lesson has Cross Curricular links to Numeracy and Literary to assist with reinforced learning for younger members of the family. Participation in the lessons will help improve your child’s self confidence, assist with relaxation and mental wellbeing, encourage independent thinking, improve fine motor skills and stretch their artistic talent.
Each class will link to an artwork, focusing on an artist or designer who’s style of work is influenced by a particular movement or style. Other interesting facts on how it is relevant to the History of Art, or linked to other subjects on the National Curriculum will ensure reinforced learning takes place.
All lessons will be taught using a clear step by step format which will assist the participants to create artworks they will be happy and proud of. Art camp is going to be so much fun and l can’t wait to meet your child and help them unleash their creativity and see their potential.
We will be be spending time in nearby Lagan Meadows, having nature walks and picnics, weather permitting. Art Camp is going to be awesome and l cannot wait to teach your child and create fun memories for them this summer.
