Your children can take part in a weekly art lesson via Zoom from anywhere in the world.
Modern technology enables Sinéad to teach your children from the comfort of your home so you and your children can sit back, relax and enjoy the step by step lesson.
Sinéad is a fully qualified Art and Design teacher with 20 years teaching experience at KS3 and KS4 level. Under her direction and teachings she has enabled her students to achieve 100% pass rate A* to C at GCSE Level. She is fully committed to sharing her breadth of knowledge and experience of the Art and Design Curriculum with all children ensuring that they reach their full potential and develop their artistic skills. Sinéad encourages children in a nurturing and caring teaching style, that makes them feel at ease to produce their best. As a practising artist she will share examples of her artworks and encourage all participants to paint themselves happy and bright.
Each lesson has Cross Curricular Numeracy and Literary subtly embedded with links to different themes of art. Lessons may focus on an artist or designer who’s style of work is influenced by a particular movement within the History of Art and therefore provides the participants with a wide knowledge of various artists and designers.
Art and Design lessons encourage children to relax and let go, to express themselves, improve self confidence, reduce anxiety and boost mental wellbeing, improve concentration, encourage independent thinking and stretch artistic talent.
All lessons will be taught using clear step by step format on how to create the artwork at hand in a fun and uplifting manner.
Each week you will receive an email containing the Zoom lesson details, including the list of materials required for your child to participate in the class. If your child for any reason cannot take part in their lesson please notify Sinead. You will have the option of your child undertaking the lesson on a Saturday morning at 11.30am.
All participants will be encouraged to upload their work to Sinead’s social media sites to showcase the artwork produced and as a celebration of achievement.
